We are a team of change makers and visionaries ourselves, looking to connect with like-minded souls and together experience all of life’s possibilities.
Umami Journeys began in 2018, with small, curated group events designed to facilitate deeper connections among people from all walks of life.
We recognized that as generational priorities shifted, burnout increased, flexibility grew, and true retreats were at a premium, we could play a role in reconnecting humans in spaces that promoted authentic connection, creativity, and healing.

Victoria Chemko
After wearing many hats at an e-commerce software startup for over six years, Victoria took a giant leap to create a business and lifestyle on her own terms.
In 2010, she founded Umami Marketing, a boutique virtual digital marketing agency, established to help B2B companies in the tech and software sectors grow their online presence. The move enabled her to live her core values of freedom and flexibility while supporting global brands.
An explorer at heart, she has spent the last 13 years traveling the world while building her business and freedom-filled lifestyle. Now she wants to share this mindset and these experiences with others, Scaling Love® through Umami Journeys.
Traveling to all corners of the globe (45 countries and counting), Victoria has had the opportunity to design her life and live authentically in her day to day, connecting with others in the moment, instead of waiting to do so at a distant point in the future.
Her goal is to help others see the possibilities beyond the status quo and unleash their full potential.
